Zine, Print, digital Photography
The zine Ends of Sleep is the outcome of a self-initiated brief examining the connection between sleep, capitalism and light pollution.

This zine is a visual response to the book “Late Capitalism and the Ends of
Sleep” by Jonathan Crary. Rasterised long exposures, expressive typography and a
reduced colour scheme form this illustrated essay. The photographs accompanying Crary’s words were shot by myself around
Kingston at night. They expose London’s illuminated night sky and the
lit windows of people’s homes, representing the obsession with the
hustle and bustle that keeps us awake at night.

The entire zine is available on Issuu.
