Hi there, I’m Marie, a graphic designer, researcher, photographer & illustrator from Upper Austria.
I'm interested in what moves people and try to stay conscious of current sociopolitical and environmental issues in my self-directed work. I am drawn to analogue techniques and media but always eager to explore new technologies and skills.
My journey as a designer began at the HTL1 in Linz, a five-year technical college with a strong emphasis on traditional communication and graphic design. After that I joined the MKD Linz, a one-year in-depth course on graphic design that allowed me to work directly with clients and work on my first big editorial project. These years allowed me to gain work experience through live-projects and several interships at places like WEI SRAUM, Alpina, and Gruppe am Park.
After completing the Graduate Diploma Creative Practice at Kingston School of Art, I have now also finished my Master's Degree in graphic design at Kingston University London, and I'm looking for a position as a designer, starting November 2023.
