To preserve the final projects of this year’s students of MA Graphic Design at Kingston School of Art, my colleague and I have organised, designed and produced ‘Open Book’ – a catalogue that reflects the creative exploration through the course. It features the students’ master projects, award winning work and interviews with professional creatives.

The catalogue includes interviews we conducted with design industry professionals to gain a deeper understanding of their work, perspectives on the evolving design landscape, and their thoughts on education in this ever-changing field.

To keep within the courses’ budget, we produced the cover ourselves in the university’s print workshop. We printed the cover using the letterpress, silver ink and a polymer plate. The cover serves as a dust jacket, revealing the section sewn binding.

The Open Book was available at the Open Show, the course’s End of Year Show at Candid Arts in Islington, London.
