Book Cover

For the Penguin Cover Design Award, I created a new cover for the non-fiction book ‘Diary of A Young Naturalist’ by Dara McAnulty. I focused on making the book stand out amongst others and capturing the essence of the book's content.

In the book, the author describes flora and fauna in great detail, so I decided to go on a walk through nature as well and collected what caught my eye. My goal was to create a book cover design full of detail and fine natural elements, just like Dara McAnulty’s narratives.
