‘Breiten9’ was a live competition brief for a local farm/newly founded family business. It includes visual identity with logo and stationery design as well as packaging design with exclusive illustrations.
The climate of the region the farm is located in is extraordinarily mild which means it is home to rather rare animals and insects.
For each product category I illustrated one of those creatures which helps the product to stand out amongst others and allows the family to vary within the category of goods that they sell: The kingfisher represents juices and syrups, the praying mantis represents wine, the scarce swallowtail represents herbs, and the bee-eater stands for jam, marmalade and compote.
